Bunbury Music Festival – Tech N9ne

Tech N9ne

written by Megan Randall

You could feel the electricity in the air prior to Tech N9ne’s intense stage entrance and performance at the Nissan Stage during the Bunbury Music Festival. Being his first round at the Cincinnati-based collective concert, Aaron Yates, stage named Tech N9ne, left none of his classic rhymes untouched.

After several songs delivering beats like “Einstein,” he welcomed surprise guest Krizz Kaliko to the stage to throw assistance on with hot raps like “Worldwide Choppers.” Kaliko belted out some Tech N9ne-adjacent songs while Yates left the stage for a brief interlude, but then returned full force commanding the crowd to jump for “Hood Go Crazy” and “I’m a Playa.”

If you missed this intense set, you’ll need to head out west to catch the Technicians this summer and fall. Full dates and locations are at www.strangemusicinc.com/tour/#tour_139.
