Gogol Bordello is continuing to support their newest release, SEEKERS AND FINDERS, which finds the nine-piece multi-cultural band in top form – an aural party of violins, accordions, trumpet, marimba amongst the standard rock basics of guitars, drum and bass.  “I was still bouncing between Latin America and Eastern Europe when songs were emerging, but finally, as soon as I moved back to New York, it all came into focus… as it always did for me here,” he explains.

Seekers and Finders has been getting serious love from publications like NPRWNYC SoundcheckMagnetPasteWashington Post, and USA Today.

“This insatiable seeker has been accessing his “higher self” via a rock he translated into grand, Slavic, violin-sawing immigrant punk” –Robert Christgau via Noisey

“Each member is a star, every instrument appreciated by every musician in a way that truly makes the band feel like the proud, multicultural family it is. This is a band filled with unstoppable energy. Seekers and Finders is yet another display of lyrical and melodic depth that proves the group is still in explosive form — and intends to stay that way.” –PopMatters

"Seekers and Finders" album art Formed in 1999, Gogol Bordello took their style of Eastern European-influenced gypsy punk and doused it deep into the underground rock of New York City. Having worked with numerous grandmasters of production including Rick Rubin, Steve Albini, Andrew Scheps, and Victor Van Vugt, Seekers and Finders brings the band full circle with Eugene taking over the producer’s chair.

Gogol Bordello is Eugene Hütz (vocals/guitar), Sergey Ryabtsev (violin), Thomas Gobena (bass), Pedro Erazo-Segovia (vocals/percussion), Pasha Newmer (accordion), Boris Pelekh (guitar), Alfredo Ortiz (drums), Ashley Tobias (vocals / percussion). Seekers and Finders is out now via Cooking Vinyl.
