Arizona-based melodic hardcore outfit, CONS, has released a new single, “I Woke Up Like This.” The single was originally found on the band’s latest EP, Slowhealer, in it’s physical form but the band has decided to release it digitally today! “I Woke Up Like This” along with a stream video is being premiered by New Transcendence now.
When talking about the single, vocalist of CONS, Jeremy Talley, said, “‘I Woke Up Like This’ was a song that was structurally written through the long lost art of mouth noises and steering wheel drums while driving around. Incrementally patch worked together in a rehearsal spot and finely detail in the studio. The idea behind this song was to harness a short chaotic burst of energy for the record and we are happy with the result.”
