“Effloresce, the trio’s first LP on Triple Crown Records, sounds a bit like a highly refined Tera Melos or Hella—with wild guitar heroics balanced by ultra-tight songwriting.” – Metro Silicon Valley

San Jose, Calif., Aug. 8, 2018 – Covet, the Bay Area math-meets-post rock trio who recently released their Triple Crown Records’ debut, effloresce (http://smarturl.it/effloresce), join Polyphia for a five-week North American tour this fall.

“These shows are gonna be a blast,” said bass player David Adamiak. “Polyphia’s fans were super receptive to us when we went out with them in 2017 and we can’t wait to bring some newer music their way!”

effloresce arrived last month with Brooklyn Vegan saying the six-song release features “sugar-sweet melodies” and dubbing the trio of Adamiak, guitar player Yvette Young and drummer Forrest Rice as “virtuosos.” The Vinyl District awarded the six-song album an A- and She Shreds Magazine, in a multi-page profile of Young, said Covet has “reached a pivotal moment in both creative and personal development.”
