Today, Indiana hardcore crew, Bruise, are sharing their debut full length Grief Ritual ahead of it’s release this Friday via a premiere with Metal Injection. It’s no wonder an album this punishing and hateful will be their first with Unbeaten Records (Left Behind, Orthodox, Boundaries). The 9 tracks are as heavy hitting in sound as they are lyrically, giving few, if any, moments of reprieve throughout. The record is the band’s attempt at dealing with the thoughts that run through your head when you’ve reached your limits. It’s the story of reaching out when you need the help. The small-town Indiana hardcore newcomers are brining the pain on what might be one of the most refined debuts of the year. The band are hitting the road in support of the new album this September with support from friends and label mates in Boundaries and Seldge.

Since their emergence in 2016, Bruise have been relentlessly touring the US with no intent to slow down as they back out this fall. Following a string of EP’s in which they tackle topics such as police brutality and hypocritical beliefs, the band has pushed their sound to its ultimate form with the new LP, Grief Ritual, due out August 31st on Unbeaten Records.
