Oct. 30, 2018, San Jose, Calif. – Covet, who are currently on the road with Polyphia, celebrate all things spooky with their newly released video for “Howl,” which can be seen now via Revolverhttps://www.revolvermag.com/music/hot-tubs-swords-murder-see-math-rock-trio-covets-bizarre-new-howl-video.

“’Howl’ was written as one of the darker toned songs on the album,” explains guitar player Yvette Young of the Tom Flynn directed clip. “I wanted to convey a more bipolar feel when I wrote this song, and I wanted the video to reflect that and be a bit mysterious. The video is basically about the three of us occupying a spooky house and hunting each other down, with flashbacks to nicer times.”

Covet are in the midst of a North American tour supporting Polyphia. New Noise said, of the band’s recent Sacramento performance, that the Bay Area trio left them “speechless” with their “beautiful, technical, jazzy sound.” The band recently released their Triple Crown Records’ debut, effloresce, with The Noise saying the six-song release is “one of 2018’s best instrumental records.” Guitar World premiered the video for the band’s track “Glimmer,” which can be seen here: https://youtu.be/iaBYzjaMCuQ.

A remix contest, which offers fans the chance to tackle the song “Shibuya,” is currently taking submissions via https://blend.io/feature/covet-remixcontest. The winner will receive a custom painted Meris Ottobit Jr guitar pedal.
