Greta Van Fleet a young band with a classic yet unique sound. Check out our review and photos from their show in Covington, KY

Greta Van Fleet is unique in a few ways, the band consists of four members 3 of which are brothers, and the average age of the band is 19!  Greta Van Fleet has a sound that is reminiscent of Led Zeppelin yet has a groove of it’s own, a sound that is a great mix of blues and rock.

When the lead singer of Greta Van Fleet, Josh Kiszka, took the stage at the SOLD OUT Madison Theater in Covington, KY I was not sure what to expect.  I really enjoyed their EP “Black Smoke Rising” but was unsure if these four guys from Michigan could pull it off live…. They succeeded and then some!  These guys really had their act together musically, the sound was great, the vibe was great, and everyone in the crowd really seemed to love every minute of it!  The band played an impressive set and played for a long time, playing a few covers and more of their original tunes including their hit “Highway Tune”.

I’ve seen a lot of people say that the band is “ripping off” Led Zeppelin and I could not disagree more. This band has a great unique sound and I think they could take it a LONG WAY!  Give them a listen and see for yourself!  Also check out our shots from the show and links to the band below!!
