Slipknot – Concert Review and Photos- Heritage Bank Center in Cincinnati, OH – 6/1/22

The second leg of the massive Knotfest Roadshow 2022 tour stopped in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 1st with Slipknot and Cypress Hill and Ho99o9.  Slipknot also recently announced an additional 9 stop fall tour with Ice Nine Kills and Crown The Empire. Cypress Hill and Ho99o9.

I missed Ho99o9’s performance but was able to make it in time to catch Cypress Hill taking stage.  DJ lord warmed the crowd up before the rest of Cypress Hill came out in a puff of smoke.  Cypress Hill played some fan favorites such as, “I Wanna Get High”, “Dr. Greenthumb”, and “Hits From the Bong”. Cypress Hill was great on stage and a great warm up to the final act, Slipknot!

When we re-entered the arena for Slipknot there was a giant curtain up with the Slipknot logo.  The music was playing “Get Behind Me Satan” while the crowd stirred in anticipation.

With two loud bangs, Slipknot stormed the stage igniting the crowd with their song “Distasterpiece”. The crowd went wild with a circle pit and crowd surfing almost immediately.  Corey and the band sounded amazing!  Slipknot went right into their song, “Wait and Bleed” next. The nice piece outfit of Slipknot was firing on all cylinders. Corey pacing back and forth across the stage while Clown was up high on scaffolding banging the drums. Slipknot continued on with their set playing some great choices of songs, “All Out Life”, “Sulfur”, “Before I Forget”, and so many more.  The show was a feast for all the senses!  The night ended off with two of my favorite Slipknot tunes, “People=Shit”, and “Surfacing”.

Seeing Slipknot live is always an amazing experience and highly recommended!
