Las Vegas based metal band Invidia have joined the Metal Alliance Tour and will be playing at Oddbody’s Music Room in Dayton, OH on Friday, September 29th. Joining Invidia on the tour will be headliner Overkill with Crowbar, Havok, and Black Fast. It’s going to be a night full of metal madness that you will not want to miss.
Invidia features former members of Five Finger Death Punch and Skinlab. Recently Invidia announced the addition of Evan Seidlitz, known for his work in VYCES, Thrown in Exile and Grimace, as the new vocalist of the band. Seidlitz is a dynamic frontman with a strong metal voice that will no doubt please fans of former Invidia vocalist Travis Johnson who left the band amicably to return to his gig as bassist with In This Moment.
Joining the Metal Alliance Tour will give Invidia a chance to further promote their debut album As The Sun Sleeps, which was released in March of this year. The album result is a collection of songs that not only land with phenomenal force but also skewer the listener with ruthless hooks. It’s loud and aggressive with some industrial-infused grooves and hard-hitting lyrics and has mass appeal that I imagine will be (dare I say) even better live than recorded.
The Metal Alliance Tour has only a few dates remaining spanning from the west coast across to the USA. Find a show near you and experience the metal mayhem for yourself.
