Rockstar Pro Arena in Dayton, Ohio is not only a music venue but also has a full size wrestling ring and hosts wrestling events! This venue is a perfect setting for a WWE Star turned rocker, and this night’s main event was Fozzy with front man Chris Jericho and Hard Rockers Through Fire!
The first act I caught was Through Fire from Omaha, Nebraska who has been killing it this past year with their hits “Breathe”, “Stronger”, and “Where You Lie”. I’ve seen Through Fire several times and on this night in Dayton, Ohio the band was truly on fire!! Guitarist and band founder Justin McCain was energetic as ever shredding his guitar while making some crazy high jumps on stage! Lead singer Grant Joshua Kendrick was full of energy as well belting out Through Fire’s hit songs on this opening set. Overall it was a fantastic performance by the guys in Through Fire! The main event was up next! Fozzy took the stage with a bang! Lead singer Chris Jericho came out with a stream of smoke wearing his studded leather jacket, and took the mic and busted into Fozzy’s hit song “Judas”. The guys from Fozzy really seem to be having a blast on stage! Lot’s of smiles on stage throughout the set by everyone in the band. Fozzy has been tearing up the music charts with their hits “Judas” and the latest hit “Painless”, both songs topping the million view mark on Youtube! Tonight’s performance set in stone that Fozzy is going to keep creating kick ass music! With the live performance being so powerful fans can’t help but get into the action?. The band performed “Painless”, “Lights Go Out”, “Drinkin with Jesus”, and many more finishing the night off with 13 songs in total! Fozzy is hitting the road again in just a few days!
