BIO:
Jungle are a group from London whose music is an atmospheric update of ’70s funk and soul. Led by musicians identified only as J and T, Jungle formed in early 2013 and released their first singles — the lazing, hypnotic dance grooves “Platoon” and “The Heat” — for the Chess Club label in July and October that year. The former gained Jungle a significant amount of notice for its striking video, which featured only the athletic dance moves of six-year-old English B-girl Terra. The duo expanded Jungle into a seven-piece band for live performances, as they did not want to simply play the music from their laptops in concert. Tickets for the group’s first London performance in December 2013 reportedly sold out within 24 hours of going on sale. Along with the likes of Banks, Sampha, Chance the Rapper, and winner Sam Smith, Jungle were selected for the long list of the BBC Sound of 2014 poll. That March, the group went on tour with opening (for HAIM) and headlining dates scheduled for performances in France, the Netherlands, the U.K., and the U.S., including the South by Southwest Festival in Austin, Texas. Jungle’s self-titled debut album arrived on XL in July of 2014. It was well-received, hitting the Top 10 in the U.K. album charts and eventually being certified gold, in addition to appearing on several year-end best-of lists. BIO:
The New York-born singer songwriter, producer and actor has had the kind of career that most young artists aspire to. Since the beginning, McCartney has attracted a diehard fan base thanks to many things: his rhythmic, R&B-tinged pop-rock sound, his self-deprecating humor expressed through interviews and on social media, and his ability to write heartfelt, relatable songs that are both personal and universal. His upcoming music is no different. With multiple platinum-selling tracks and a songwriting credit on Leona Lewis’ “Bleeding Love” under his belt McCartney is ready to introduce his fans to who he is today. In the month and a half since its release, “Better With You” has reached #28 on the Spotify US viral chart and #42 on the Global viral chart, as well as other Spotify viral charts overseas. The music video featuring Danielle Campbell of CWs “The Originals” is approaching 6 million views on YouTube. The song has received praise from numerous press outlets including Paper Mag, Teen Vogue, Billboard, and Entertainment Tonight. In addition, “Better With You” has been getting airplay with Elvis Duran/iHeart Radio and Sirius XM.
“Better With You” is McCartney’s first new music since his well-received 2014 album In
Technicolor. The acoustic-guitar- driven pop song was co written with Brandyn Burnette,
Molly Moore, and producer Rob Knox (Justin Timberlake, Rihanna). He plans to release more music throughout 2018 and bring his dedicated fans along for the ride. Don’t miss Jesse McCartney at Newport Music Hall on July 7th!Official Website: https://www.jessemccartney.com/

BIO:
Fozzy has always been about one thing: bringing good times back to rock and roll. In every incarnation of the band, from the Mongoose McQueen era to the present day, Chris Jericho and Rich Ward have been rocking the socks of fans all over the world, reminding all who see them that rock and roll is about invoking dirty, sweaty, loud, spandex-clad jubilation.Ward is one of the most versatile, underrated riffers in rock and metal, and has been since being a founding member of Stuck Mojo, a band still known as being one of the innovators of the rap metal genre. In 2000, Chris Jericho, already known the world over for his legendary professional wrestling career, sat in on a few Fozzy sessions before becoming a permanent Fozzy fixture at lead singer.Jericho’s vocals and passion for music makes one wonder just how he is able to find the time to excel in pretty much everything he does. His limitless talent, combined with the music mind and chops of Rich Ward, created the “Unstoppable” Fozzy, a band destined to steal the hearts of her eventual fanbase.

Now, Fozzy has their sights set on their Judas Rising Tour. Fans will get to bang their heads to the hit “Judas”, which hit #1 on the iTunes Metal Chart and #5 on the iTunes Rock Chart, along with their newest release “Drinking with Jesus”. Once again, Fozzy is setting out to force fans to dial back into the art of rock and roll. It’s time for fans to fasten their seatbelts, ease the seat back, and let Fozzy delight and excite you. It’s time to remind the world that not only is “Judas Rising”, but so is Fozzy’s stamp on the world of music.

BIO:
Back in December 2017, Shakey Graves proclaimed on his Twitter page, “Next album. New sound. Sell your suspenders.” The tweet was tongue-in-cheek, but Alejandro Rose-Garcia, the Austin native who’s been plying his trade as Shakey Graves since 2007, was making a dead-serious point about his latest album, Can’t Wake Up. This ambitious, audacious work heralds an artistic metamorphosis for the 30-year-old veteran, whose risk-taking in painting outside the lines has been rewarded tenfold. “This record is the most I’ve ever intentionally worked on a project, musically speaking, in terms of the scope of it and how much thought went into it,” he says. “It’s a dense album; there’s a lot of information going on.”That is not a hyperbolic boast. From one moment to the next, Can’t Wake Up veers from the inevitable to the revelatory, its thirteen songs teeming with jarring musical and thematic collisions and thrillingly seamless intersections, gnarly psychological hornswoggles and ecstatic resolutions. Central to the prevailing sense of disorientation are the lead vocals, none of which is purely solo. Instead, each lead performance is shadowed by a queasy harmony or slightly out-of-sync unison part, giving the sense—especially on headphones—that these voices are emanating from inside the listener’s head.In a sense, the album is a microcosm of Rose-Garcia obsessively artistic existence and its ever-expanding horizons. Come out and see Shakey Graves at Newport Music Hall on September 25th!

BIO:
The third full-length from Vacationer, Mindset, is built on delicate melodies and crystalline rhythms that seem to alter the very texture of the world around you. Ornately composed but breezy in energy, Vacationer’s warm-hearted dream-pop perfectly mirrors frontman Ken Vasoli’s intentions in making the album. “The objective was to write songs that remind me how my brain needs to operate for my own wellbeing and happiness,” Vasoli says. “That’s where the title comes from—the record’s filled with all these reminders that put me in a good mindset for the day.”Despite its often-euphoric effect, Mindset began in frustration for Vasoli. After countless false starts on the follow-up to 2014’s Relief, the Philadelphia-based musician decided to completely upend his creative approach. While Vacationer’s previous albums came to life in close collaboration with fellow members Matthew Young and Grant Wheeler, Vasoli shifted his focus from songwriting to production and worked entirely on his own for months on end. During that time, he immersed himself in exploring the nuances of Ableton and analyzing the construction of beloved albums by artists like the Beach Boys, Barry White, and Curtis Mayfield. At the end of the years-long process of creating Mindset, Vasoli found himself more self-assured in his artistry. “I used to always feel like I was over my head, but now I feel so much more empowered to take my ideas and get them down on tape in a way that’s true to what I hear in my mind,” he says. Not only key in shaping the album’s distinct and elegant sound, that sense of self-possession ultimately reflects the essence of Mindset. “A lot of this record is about experiencing things as they happen, and not giving into the pressure of anxiety and depression—especially since those things are so easy to creep up on you,” says Vasoli. “That was a big struggle for me to get out of in the early stages of this album, but then the music I was working on ended up being my solution. My hope is that it works the same way for anyone who hears it.” Don’t miss Vacationer at The Basement on July 18th!
