June 6 in the year of the King (2018): Citizens! Today is a great day for Avatar Country and therefore the world as His Royal Majesty once again claims the title of not only King of our glorious nation but also King of the road.

The Department of Informing the Citizens of the Kingdom (D.I.C.K.) is proud to report that our finest negotiators have reached a trade deal with metal greats, the people of TRIVIUM! The agreement includes sharing stage space on a string of royal state visits across the United States of America and Canada.

After a long time in the making, everyone within the Chivalrous Royal Administration and Court of the King (C.R.A.C.K) is delighted and excited beyond reason to see their hard work bare fruit. So says the King:

”Trivium is among the most precious of metals and side by side we shall shine with exponentially grown strength. In short, the future is so bright, we’ll all need to wear shades.”

Avatar will return to North America this fall with Trivium on their “The Sin and the Sentence World Tour” in continued support of Avatar’s newest LP, Avatar Country. This will be the band’s second full scale North American run since earlier this year in January with support from circus sideshow, Hellzapoppin. The band returned briefly after that to perform at Fort Rock, Welcome to Rockville and Carolina Rebellion festivals in April.

Avatar released their seventh, and most Royal, full length, Avatar Country earlier this year via Entertainment One. The LP debuted at #2 Indie, #4 Hard Music, #8 Rock, and #25 on the Billboard 200 Chart.

Critics praised the release as well. NEW NOISE MAGAZINE said Avatar Country was“the culmination of the group’s evolution into a singular powerhouse, a trip into the heart of what makes metal so distinctively powerful.”

LOUDWIRE called the opening track “Glory To Our King” sounds like “it could’ve come straight off of Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Heart Club, a warm and over the top introduction to the rest of the album.” And finally, METAL INJECTION called Avatar Country “a wonderful ride.”
