JUNE 8, 2018 – (Los Angeles, CA) Virginia-raised, California-based outlaw country rocker JASON CHARLES MILLER will debut his career-defining forthcoming album “In The Wasteland” on July 15 via RED MUSIC / SONY. Drawing inspiration from a career that has spanned more than two decades and a dozen releases, and colored by a catalog of musical textures drawing extensively from the worlds of rock, country and Americana, “Into The Wasteland” is a mixture of observational storytelling and pure emotional ferocity.
Mixed and produced by Grammy Award-winner Matt Hyde (Jonny Lang, No Doubt, Deftones) and featuring drummer Kenny Aronoff (John Mellenamp, John Fogerty), “In The Wasteland” also includes guest performances from the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd guitarist Rickey Medlocke and keyboardist Peter Keys, legendary Soul vocalist Brenda Lee Eager (Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles and Diana Ross), Blackberry Smoke vocalist Charlie Starr, King’s X frontman Dug Pinnick, guitarist Duane Betts(son of founding Allman Brothers guitarist Dickey Betts), guitarist Adam Shoenfeld (Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean) and ‘Cowboy’ Eddie Long (Jamey Johnson).
More than just a record, “In The Wasteland” is the living and breathing embodiment of JASON CHARLES MILLER, who is excited to share a glimpse into his world with the live-shot music video for it’s title-track.
