LIL AARON
June 8, 2018 – LOS ANGELES, CA – Genre-defying artist lil aaron is heading to Las Vegas this weekend to perform with the one and only Blink-182. He will be opening up for the Friday and Saturday Residency Shows at The Pearl Theater at The Palms Casino, Resort and Spa. This isn’t the first time that lil aaron and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker will have performed together. The two recently partnered up for “QUIT,” the lead single from Aaron’s EP ROCK$TAR FAMOU$. lil aaron also performed at the 2018 Musink Festival. Tickets for Blink-182’s Kings of the Weekend Residency are available at https://www.blink182vegas.com/ .
lil aaron will also be performing at the Pomona stop on this summer’s Vans Warped Tour. These massive announcements come off the heels of his highly energetic set at Emo Nite LA this past Tuesday and the recent release of ROCK$TAR FAMOU$ last week. The EP truly is a realization of everything lil aaron wants to accomplish with music.
What started in early 2017 on a trip to Hawaii with Aaron and a hand full of other writers and producer quickly turned into the creation of over 100 songs. The culmination of the last year of work is a 7-track EP that blurs the lines between rock, hip hop, emo and pop genres, featuring guests like Travis Barker (Blink-182), Kim Petras, Rico Nasty and KIIARA. “I want to mesh everything that I grew up listening to with everything I listen to today” shares the artist that somehow can fit in an underground rap show just as well as he fits on the Emo Nite stage. Fans can stream and purchase ROCK$TAR FAMOU$ today at https://lilaaron.lnk.to/ rockstarfamous.
Aaron not only delivers a unique sound in a sometimes other-wise formulaic music scene, but also embraces his own grunge-goth style with 100% confidence. He is able to blend the internet music discovery scene with a mainstream audience while collaborating with artists and creators from vastly different genres. Transitioning from a songwriter to performer, lil aaron’s first EP, GLOING PAIN$, was released in 2016 and he has since shared the stage with artists like Blackbear, Kim Petras, smrtdeath and more. With the release of ROCK$TAR FAMOU$ later this month, 2018 is set to be the year of toxic green.
