SUBLIME WITH ROME RELEASE NEW SINGLE “WICKED HEART”

LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 27, 2018) – Sublime with Rome released “Wicked Heart” today via 5 Music/RED MUSIC with an accompanying lyric video, marking a return by the ska-punk trio. “Wicked Heart” is the lead single off Sublime with Rome’s long-awaited third full-length, which is expected in Spring 2019. Produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Paramore, Linkin Park) and Andrew Goldstein (Robert DeLong, Blackbear, Lauv), the track features a gentle bass, crooning harmonies and a dancing guitar riff. When asked what inspired the song, vocalist/guitarist Rome Ramirez shared: “My girl and I were talking one night… then boom! Things got heated, and all of the sudden this nice, fancy dinner turned into the Cold War. What started as something so nice and beautiful took such a wicked twist.”

The band’s last album, Sirens (2015), peaked at #2 on Billboard‘s Current Alternative Album chart and #3 on Billboard‘s Rock Album chart. The release included Sublime with Rome’s Alternative radio single “Wherever You Go,” which peaked at #16. Sirens is preceded by their 2011 debut full-length Yours Truly with two Alternative radio hits “Take It or Leave It” and “Panic,” which peaked at #4. Collectively, Sublime with Rome clocked more than 80 million U.S. streams to date.
