Seattle-based heavy rock outfit, AVOID, is excited to release their debut label LP, Alone, today. Talking about the band’s excitement and the album’s release, vocalist Benny Scholl states, “It’s finally here, we’re so excited to debut ‘Alone’ as a whole. We already can’t thank everyone enough who has been jamming the singles and pre ordered the album, and please please if you can go pick it up during this first week. There’s a song on here for everybody, and we’re really proud of the work that went into this. We hope you enjoy!“
In addition, AVOID has released a brand new single, “Shapes,” accompanied by a stream video featuring footage from the band’s most recent tour. The track is the fifth single the band has released this year since their signing with Revival Recordings. When speaking about “Shapes,” Scholl stated, “Shapes is a really exciting song to have out. This is actually an extremely re-imagined version of one of the first songs we ever wrote together, so it’s a special one for us. This song is about going through everyday life feeling useless, and gaining reason and purpose to get yourself out of that head-space. I think this is one everyone can bang their head to.” Fans can watch the stream video on the Revival Recordings YouTube channel now.
Fans can purchase Alone on iTunes, MerchNow, or the Revival Recordings shop page or stream the album on all digital platforms now!
