VESSEL OF LIGHT features Ancient VVisdom‘s Nathan Opposition on drums and vocals and founding member of Hades and Non-Fiction, Dan Lorenzo, on guitars and bass. Lorenzo was also in The Cursed with Overkill‘s Bobby Blitz.
Coincidentally, Blitz is a huge fan of VESSEL OF LIGHT. Says Blitz, “Dan and Nathan’s collaboration is a marriage made in hell. Riffs from the depths and vocals in the twilight. What the devil has put together, may no man put asunder. I can’t wait for the reception.”
VESSEL OF LIGHT released their debut self-titled EP in November of last year. “One Way Out” is cut from their new LP/CD/DD release, Woodshed, out September 21 on Argonauta Records.
VESSEL OF LIGHT will perform their first ever show Saturday, September 29 at The Bowery Ballroom in NYC, opening for Life Of Agony. The show is already sold out.
Dan Lorenzo says, “LOA used to open for Non-Fiction all the time and Joey Z has always been really supportive of my music. We are so happy they invited us to open for them. My former Hades buddies Jimmy Schulman and Ron Lipnicki (who was also in Overkill for ten years) will be playing with us live.”
