Raleigh-based band and dad-punk professionals, TLE, have released a brand new single, “Date Night.” The track is the fourth single the band has released off their forthcoming album. The short, punchy song talks about the struggles of getting any type of alone time when you are parents to tiny humans. Fans can get a glimpse into the dad world in the accompanying music video which can be seen on the Revival Recordings YouTube channel.
TLE is also excited to announce their takeover of Revival 52 for these two weeks. Revival 52 is the campaign Revival Recordings has been running this year of a new music being released every Friday for the entire year. In addition to the release of “Date Night,” the band will also be releasing another brand new single, “Drive Thru Records Was The Best Record Label In The History Of Anything, Ever.” When discussing TLE’s takeover, vocalist and guitarist Shawn Milke stated, ” At first I thought Revival52 was just for kids, but then I realized that you’re never too old to playlist. To borrow a line from every Dad ever, we are going to release songs back to back weeks because I said so.” Nick Onorato, backing vocalist and guitarist, continued, “As Dads it’s important to know when you need to put your foot down on topics. Revival52 clearly has not included enough DadPunk and we’ve had enough.”
