BADFLOWER SOLIDIFIES NO. 1 ROCK SINGLE WITH “GHOST”
NASHVILLE, TN (October 9, 2018) – BADFLOWER has officially claimed the top spot on the Active Rock Radio Mediabase Chart with their first No. 1 single “Ghost.” The inaugural act on Big Machine/John Varvatos Records, a newly minted partnership between Big Machine Label Group president/CEO Scott Borchetta and iconic fashion designer John Varvatos, has captured audiences across the airwaves and online with the song’s thought-provoking video and Forbes affirms, “‘Ghost has connected at the absolute core of where music hits fans.”  The Southern Californians’ momentous year has been augmented with rave reviews for performances on The Late Late Show with James Corden and the iHeartRadio Music festival.
Badflower frontman Josh Katz muses “I didn’t even think the song would make the album but to see the connection it has made with so many people has been amazing! We have the most talented and dedicated team in the industry to thank for this. And all of you who connected with the song, requested it at your radio station, came to a show. So much love for everyone. Dream come true for sure. We’re ready for whatever comes next.”

Josh co-wrote the searing lyrics and shattering melody that touch on the sober topic of suicide. Audiences and radio have connected, eliciting meaningful conversation as Go Venue Magazine describes the song as “…truly one of the deepest and freshest releases rock music has had in awhile, and it demands to be heard.”

Available now at all digital and streaming services, “Ghost” is currently on featured playlists such as Apple Music’s The New Rock and the A-List: Hard Rock, Spotify’s Rock This & The New Alt as well as Amazon’s Introducing Rock. Additionally, Pandora ranked Badflower No. 1 on their Predictions Chart, which is determined by activity across all major social music sites.

The band is currently on the road supporting From Ashes To New’s THE FUTURE IS NOW TOUR 2018. Later this fall, Badflower will support The Wrecks on a US Tour and select dates with A Perfect Circle while also headlining several shows and appearing at numerous music festivals. It was just announced they will also join Nothing More’s THE TRUTH TOUR in 2019. For a complete list of upcoming live dates and ticket information visit badflowermusic.com/.
