CATSBURY PARK CAT CONVENTION
Returns For Its Second Year in Asbury Park, NJ
April 13 & 14, 2019
ASBURY PARK, NJ (November 1, 2018) – Following a hugely successful inaugural launch in April of this year, CATSBURY PARK CAT CONVENTION (www.catsburyconvention.com) is honored to be returning for its second year and promises to be pawsitively bigger and better!  Expanding and upping the feline fun factor for 2019, the East Coast’s biggest cat convention will take place on April 13 & 14, 2019. The event will be centered at Convention Hall and The Paramount Theatre but plans to expand to other area venues, including Wonder Bar and Asbury Lanes. Early Bird tickets are on sale now at www.catsburyconvention.com.

With the historic Asbury Park Boardwalk as its backdrop, the convention will be increasing its size and scope, upping the capacity and adding even more vendors and more excitement. Catsbury Park will be bringing together an even larger all-star lineup from Cat World: Celebrity Cats, adoptable felines, DJs, games, activities, art, vendors, presentations, seminars, comedians, tattoos, tasty vegetarian food! A huge Cat Lounge / Cat Cafe is also planned to allow more attendees to interact with the cats for adoption and find forever homes for our lovely feline friends. In addition, there will be seminars about rescue, kitten care, TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return), and more.

April 2018’s two-day event drew over 5,000 attendees from all over the country and raised over $40,000 that was donated to Catsbury ParkThe Brodie FundHumane Society Tinton FallsJersey Shore Animal FoundationCamden County ShelterPaul the Cat GuyNorth Shore Animal League and Asbury Park Boardwalk Cats.  “We were completely overwhelmed by last year’s success,” says DJ Bornschein, founder of Catsbury Park. “It was always our goal to bring a fun, entertaining and educational event to the community of cat lovers that have always supported Catsbury Park, but last year exceeded our expectations.”
