KBZT AND 91X
TICKET PROCEEDS TO GO TO CATERINA’S CLUB AND MUSIC HUGS
(Long Beach, California – November 14, 2018) – Ska-punk trio Sublime With Rome announces two back-to-back San Diego shows sponsored by KBZT and 91X at House Of Blues on December 29th and December 30th. Ticket proceeds for both shows will go towards Caterina’s Club and Music Hugs. Fans can purchase tickets for both benefit shows HERE for the 29th and HERE for the 30th.
This past summer, Sublime With Rome released their newest single, “Wicked Heart“, off of their new forthcoming full-length album, which is set for release Spring 2019 via 5 Music/RED MUSIC. The band’s highly anticipated third LP was produced by Rob Cavallo (Green Day, Paramore, Linkin Park), and “Wicked Heart” was co-produced by Rob Cavallo and Andrew Goldstein (Robert DeLong, Blackbear, Lauv).
In addition to the two San Diego shows in December, Sublime With Rome will be at major festivals such as Riptide Music Festival and Mayan Mayhem Tattoo and Arts Festival, on top of headlining a handful of shows across the U.S. in December and January. The band’s last album, Sirens (2015), peaked at #2 on Billboard‘s Current Alternative Album chart and #3 on Billboard‘s Rock Album chart. The release included Sublime with Rome’s Alternative radio single “Wherever You Go,” which peaked at #16. Sirens is preceded by their 2011 debut full-length Yours Truly with two Alternative radio hits “Take It or Leave It” and “Panic,” which peaked at #4. Collectively, Sublime With Rome clocked more than 80 million U.S. streams to date.

MUSICHUGS (Musicians United in Support of Immigrant Children Held under Unlawful Government) and is a group of local musicians who are hosting a benefit concert to raise money to help immigrant children and families separated at the border pay for legal fees and social services.
ABOUT CATERINA’S CLUB
Caterina’s Club’s mission is to provide warm meals, affordable housing assistance, and job training to homeless and low-income families throughout Southern California. It is supported by a vision where we are creating a modicum of consistency in these children’s lives through something as simple yet meaningful as a nightly dinner. This overarching vision that started as preventing children in motels going to bed hungry has turned into 3,880 vulnerable children receiving a meal every night at 68 sites throughout LA and Orange Counties; 184 families have been placed in permanent housing in safe neighborhoods through our Welcome Home program, and 132 teens have been trained through the Hospitality Academy at four Anaheim High Schools. Our vision is to provide every child the resources, love, and encouragement they need to be healthy, safe, and educated.
