Released in February, Astronoid was met with high-anticipation, with reviews confirming the nine-song release surpassed expectations. Pitchfork said the band finds “an awesome intersection of black metal pummel and shoegaze luster,” Treble Zine described the quartet live in “an awe-inspiring and inspired orbit,” while Kerrang added that “their new self-titled album sees the band increasing both the dreamy and metallic elements in their music, adding what can only be described as a passionate aggression to their still-luminescent character and firmly placing them in a league of their own.
