Shallow Side made a stop in Cincinnati, OH, at Riverfront Live on a very cold November night. The band is currently on tour supporting their latest release “Saints and Sinners” which came out in July of 2019.
The venue was full of fans waiting for the Alabama based Shallow Side to perform. After a number of opening acts got the crowd fired up and ready, Shallow Side took stage around 11 p.m. The band opened up the night with “Revival”, and then moved into the song “All Rise”. Lead singer Eric Boatright’s southern sounding vocals really brought out the soul in all of their songs. To hear Eric power through the set live was incredible. The band looked like they were having a great time, Eric was often smiling at the crowd as guitarist Seth Trimble and bassist Matt Daniels moved about the stage entertaining fans. Drummer Heath Fields was hammered away the entire set looking intense and keeping the beat alive through each song. The band rolled on through their set playing 11 songs including fan favorite “Renegade”, the Styx cover that the band has completely reinvented!
Shallow Side does not have tour dates released at the moment but stay tuned. If and when they hit the road again get out there and support this great band!
