Shawn Perry Releases His Rocker “Six Feet Apart” I Take on Modern Love

American Singer/Songwriter, Guitarist, Actor and Producer Shawn Perry releases “Six Feet Apart”: a true tale about modern love, or at least trying to connect with a love interest, in our current times. Filled with incredible guitar riffs, “Six Feet Apart” walks the line between rock n roll and country-tinged fingers burning along those chords. Shawn brings together a killer song all from a conversation he had with his manager Denny Sanders of The Label Group – giving that love connection a whole new meaning.

“I wrote the song back in March. My manager Dennis Sanders suggested the idea, but I took it in a completely different direction. I wanted to explore the impact that social distancing would have on couples. Even though the song is a fun summer stadium anthem inspired by U2 and Van Halen, there is a real dark side to the song. Are the star crossed lovers in the song six feet apart for now or six feet apart for ever? That is for to the listener to decide.
Our friend Alex Dar did an amazing lyric video/visualizer for the song that is available now on YouTube. Every frame in the video is stop motion; done by hand like the animation in old Monty Python movies. There is also a great making of the video online as well.
We will be filming an equally epic live action music video at the end of September. We are hoping to have it in the can on YouTube in mid- October. Keep your eyes peeled for the astronauts, tanks, and a flying Delorian.” – Shawn Perry
