The Major Minor Premieres Music Video For Lead Single

Different Light Releasing May12th on Imminence Records
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(April 10th, 2017)Imminence Records has signed Detroit pop-punkers The Major Minor. The band will release their debut EP, entitled Different Light, May 12th. To celebrate their signing, the band has premiered the music video for their lead single “Maps.” The band will hit the road around the EP release and continue throughout the rest of the year.
This EP came about after close to a year of late night writing sessions that consisted of driving to write and record in Ohio at Glass Arrow Audio and Under Hill Studios. I personally try to write about things I’ve been through first or second hand so it’s personal. Some of those topics include working towards goals, through bumps in the road, relationships ending, and being in love. We felt the music was special and have been sitting on it for a few months working on landing the kind of deal we did with Imminence Records.” – Dan Amaro (Vocalist)

About The Major Minor:

The Major Minor was established in Detroit during 2015 as an emotional pop punk band. The members – Daniel Amaro, Ian Redmen, Austin Dryer, and Roberto Garcia – are influenced from early 2000’s pop punk to post hardcore that includes Silverstein, Senses Fail, and Jimmy Eat World. The band released their debut EP in October 2015 entitled The Wasted Nights. They quickly came back six months later with the matured Maps EP. During the following winter the band caught the attention of Imminence Records and announced their signing to the label on April 6th, 2017. The band will see their label debut, entitled Different Light, released on May 12th.
