PHOTOS AND REVIEW OF MICHIGAN RATTLERS PERFORMING AT TIN ROOF IN LOUISVILLE, KY!

Photos and words by Emily May

Michigan born and LA based folk-rock band Michigan Rattlers made a stop recently in Louisville, KY.  The band, who consists of Graham Young (guitar/vocals), Adam Reed (upright bass/backup vocals) and Christian Wilder (piano/backup vocals), are currently touring in support of their first full-length album, Evergreen.  Although the crowd was light for a Thursday night, the band was having fun on stage together, cutting up with each other and the patrons of the bar.  At one point Young joked that he was glad to be able to watch the game that was on tv while they played!  The band has a folk rock sound with a bit of rock and roll and country mixed in.  They had a bit of a modern day Lucero vibe to them that I really enjoyed!  After performing for about an hour, the band exited the stage and chatted with people a bit.  They put on a really fun and energetic set that had me dancing along all night!
