Silvertung brings back their signature sound with (But At What Cost??!)

By Cathy Moore of Moore Rock Shots & Reviews

After breaking from their signature sound in 2017 for the all-acoustic Lighten Up, Silvertung goes back to their hard rock roots with (But At What Cost??!) released on February 15 through Thermal Entertainment LLC.

Silvertung has had three songs hit the Billboard Mainstream Rock Radio Chart and they have toured with huge artists such as Godsmack, Anthrax, Papa Roach, Slipknot, Disturbed, and many others. Fans have been salivating for this 5th album, and they certainly won’t be disappointed.

(But At What Cost??!) opens with “Dodging Bullets.” This song grabs your gut with a soft and slow interlude that builds into a cacophony of coolness. The almost hypnotic verses slam into hard and heavy choruses and that dichotomy really catches your attention. The guitar solo after the bridge absolutely kicks ass – best part of the whole song in my opinion.

“Black Sunset” is one of those anthemic songs that you can just imagine a stadium full of rowdy rock fans headbanging and singing along to. It has a catchy beat and cool guitar riffs that make it one of my favorites on the album.

My other favorite song on the album is the first single “Done My Best” which is a perfect song to introduce the world to (But At What Cost??!). It’s a high-energy song with driving drums and voracious vocals that convey the passion Silvertung has put into this album. Check out the video for “Done My Best” below!

(But At What Cost??!) is already getting rave reviews, and I think it could be Silvertung’s biggest album to date. You should order the album so you have it in your library to enjoy as soon as possible.
