Tetrarch is a 4 piece metal band from Atlanta, GA and burst onto the scene last year with their full-length album Freak. Tetrarch consists of lead singer and guitarist Josh Fore, lead guitarist Diamond Rowe, bassist Ryan Lerner, and drummer Ruben Limas. We had the opportunity to not only see and photograph the show but also speak to the amazing Diamond Rowe prior to the show. (see interview below).
The show in Louisville, KY was on a warm February night at a venue called “The Tiger Room”. When I arrived at the venue the crowd had already filed inside and the venue was shaking with local acts warming up the crowd. Around 10 p.m. the members of Tetrarch took the stage and tore into one of my favorite songs off the Freak album, “Pull the Trigger”!! Right away the band sounded perfect and fans packed in to see Diamond shred the guitar at the edge of the stage. Tetrarch then plowed through more of their set playing “Relentless”, “Break the Trend”, and “Please Let Me Be”. Five songs in and Tetrarch was killing it! Josh sounded amazing on vocals and Ryan was interacting with the crowd throughout. The next song the band played and the first song I heard from the band that turned me onto their music was “Freak”. The song “Freak” has seen a ton of airplay on metal and hard-rock stations and I heard it played a ton on SiriusXM Liquid Metal and SiriusXM Octane. The crowd felt the same way I did, they loved this song!
Tetrarch wrapped up the night by playing “We are the Hunters” and “Oddity”. After the last song the band greeted fans at their merch table. I always love seeing bands that take the time to interact with their fans after a show. This band is definitely special!!!
Tetrarch will be playing to some huge crowds this summer including the Epicenter Festival!!
Diamond told us that they are working on new music and I cannot wait to see what they have in store for fans.
